You can import your NHS payment statements, downloaded from Open Exeter, securely into GP+ for checking, matching and exporting directly into your Xero accounts.
Up-to-date
Once you have made the connection between GP+ and your Xero accounts, GP+ will retrieve your full chart of accounts from QuickBookstogether with other appropriate settings. Each time you sign in to GP+ your Xero data will be checked and updated accordingly.
Quick and Easy
Importing your statements is quick and easy, and GP+ checks the imported files for integrity. Once checked and verified, the matching process couldn't be easier. GP+ will display available accounts for you to match each transaction, and keep a track of where you are up to.
Once you have fully matched an imported statement, you can securely export the matched transactions into your Xero accounts with one click. GP+ will confirm the update of your Xero accounts and retain a log of the matched statement.
Intelligent
When you next import a statement GP+ will identify transactions that have previously been matched and automatically match them based on your previous selections - you can simply accept this match or modify it as required.
Integration with Xero
On first accessing the app you will need to create a user account by clicking the ‘Sign Up’ button at the top right of the screen. An email confirmation with an activation link will be sent to the email address you provide.
Clicking the activation link in the email message will take you to a screen where you will be required to enter further details about your practice.
Once you have saved these details, you will be prompted to ‘Connect to Xero’. In order to connect the app to your Xero company, you will need to log in using your normal Xero sign-in credentials.
Once you have connected to your desired Xero company, please ensure that you select a Default Bank Account from the Organisation Settings page. You will then be ready to import, match and export transactions.
